I opened the doors to my surf boutique, Goin Left, in the very heart of Lahaina, in August of 2015.
I’ve always wanted to initiate a community-driven shop that inspires creativity and incorporates surf culture with local, hand-made, quality goods.
I built all the furniture by hand, painted my murals on the walls, and curated the coolest merch I could get my hands on!
I felt like I truly had my dreamy eclectic surf shop + evolving art project that I’ve always wanted!
It took 8 years of hard work and dedication, plenty of mistakes and achievements, until it was all taken away with the Lahaina wildfires on August 8, 2023.
I was blessed with an opportunity to keep this business alive, online, through the MEO Bridge Grant!
